અમારા કુટુંબના અભિન્ન અંગ એવા
અમારા પ્રિય શ્વાન "જહોન્ટી" ને ગુમાવ્યાની
પળે એક ઉદગાર...........
માનવી, કહી ના શકે, એ બોલતો
ને વફાદારીથી અમને તોલતો
લાગણીના સહેજ પણ અણસારથી
પૂંછથી તન્મય બનીને ડોલતો
આંખનાં મોઘમ ઈશારે વેદ ની
કેટલી જાણે ઋચાઓ ખોલતો
ભિન્ન છે જાતિ ભલે લોકો કહે
હું અભિન્ન અંગ તુજને મોલતો
દાયકાનાં સંસ્મરણના આવરણ
સાવ હળવેથી હવે હું છોલતો
